What type of service is involved?
Transportation and errands in a caregiving environment typically will involve helping the individual with tasks such as:
- Driving them to medical appointments.
- Grocery shopping
- Running other errands:
- This may include things like picking up medication,
- Paying bills.
- Going to the post office.
The caregiver may also help the person plan and organize their schedule and may need to assist with mobility and other physical needs when out and about. Additionally, the caregiver may be responsible for maintaining the person’s vehicle and arranging for any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Where do I receive personal care services?
In most cases, you will receive these services in your own home.
